remember this recipe card last year.?. well, i made this little one, this year, for my sister & i thought that i would share it with you guys. she just but some big marshmallows in cello bags & paired it with it. you could also do like a specialty dark chocolate candy bar if you wanted, or straight peppermint candy stirring sticks... the sky's the limit:) hope you like it. remember there are printing directions in the right side bar. merry christmas!

non-traditional linzer cookies...

this is a recipe from Ina Garten that i love!!!  i have making them for about 8 years or so & they are a total must during the holidays.  they are crisp & buttery as well as tart & berr-i-licious!  the trick is chilling them on the cookie sheet between cutting them out & baking.   i will post my cookie gift box idea for these tomorrow or the next day.  but here is the recipe card.

a gift that keeps giving...

everyone loves the gifts of food!  i love making treats for all of my neighbors & friends & they usually ask me for the recipes.  that is exactly how i came to this theme for the Christmas season.  each of the treat items that i post until Christmas will have a printable recipe card in a 5 x 7 inch format that you can attach to your treat gifts for you lovies!  i will also be posting packaging ideas & other gift giving ideas throughout the month.  if there are any specific recipes i have already posted that you would like made into cards leave me a comment letting me know.  hope your holidays are happy & delicious!

**to print this card- right click on the image.  click on "save as..."  save to your files (pay attention to where you are saving it!)  print on your printer, or at any photo lab.  i use costco, but you will have to have it printed at 98% to account for their 2% crop.  let me know if you have any questions.

...poppy seed chicken...

after I had my little girl, my sister-in-law Nikki brought me this for dinner.  It is so yummy & I have cooked it several times since then.  I hope that you love it as much as me & my family.  I typically don't really love angel hair pasta--but with this dish it is super yummy!

Everyone must try this salsa. I can't take credit for it because it is my friend Robyn's recipe but it is to DIE for! I made it last night and can I just tell you I have been dreaming of it ever since.
Put all your Veggies in food processor and then mix in your liquids! You can't screw this up I promise!!!

Peanut Butter S'mores

Up & Running...Finally!

Well, I finally followed through & got the blog up. Recipe club is today at my house & I promised myself that I would have all the Blog info ready for everyone by today. Too bad that I had a month to do it & instead I put it off until... oh yeah-LaSt NiGhT!!! I will post all the recipes from tonight later, but I thought that I would start with my own. As the hostess, I am providing the drink. My cute niece Whitney's mother-in-law made this EgG nOg last year for Whitney's little boys blessing. I hate egg nog- but I couldn't get enough of this.
